F. DAVID MOORE, CFE

Dave Moore is the President of Specialized Investigations, Inc a licensed investigative company with the Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Private Security Bureau. Mr. Moore, who is a forensic accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner, has worked in the field of financial investigations for 33 years.

Previously, Mr. Moore was the Manager of Financial Investigative Services, Inc. and the Financial Investigator of Dallas law firms, Hewitt & Jerome, P.C. and Glast, Miller & Allen.

Mr. Moore earned his experience through his early employment with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, Specialized Crime Division, as Chief Financial Investigator, a position in which he performed financial investigations and trial preparation of “white collar crime” cases; often testifying as the State’s expert witness. He began his career with the Treasury Department as a Special Agent with the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation Division. In that position he was responsible for the investigation and prosecution of tax fraud cases and related violations.

Now specializing in forensic accounting, litigation support, financial profiling, financial analysis, and summary and expert witness testimony; Mr. Moore, participates in complex cases of fraud, both civil and criminal. He has analyzed volumes of financial records, interviewed hundreds of witnesses and testified for both the prosecution and the defense. He has testified in court and before the Grand Jury of both state and Federal jurisdictions. Additionally, he has participated in numerous pre-trial Grand Jury investigations both in Federal and in state courts, assisting the prosecution in their indictments, and various defendants in obtaining no-bills.

Also, Mr. Moore is often called upon as a consultant for victims; assisting them in their initial “in house” investigations and preparation of a case, then presented for prosecution and/or civil suit.
